Thirty-one (31) private establishments in the region joined the 2021 Luzon Cluster Convention on Labor Management Cooperation (LMC) via the zoom platform on August 26, 2021. The activity’s theme was tagged as “Continuing Labor-Management Partnership: Conquering and Living with COVID-19”.
The said event was jointly organized by the National Conciliation and Mediation Board and the Philippine League of Labor Management Cooperation Practitioners, Inc. It aimed to inspire both labor and management sectors to work together in addressing the pandemic towards company resiliency and mental well-being.
Aside from the updates on the various labor advisories made by Mr. Nicanor V. Bon, Chief of Policy and Programs Development Division, Bureau of Working Conditions, Ms. Cielo Marte Presas, a Life Coach, likewise shared her very informative talk on mental well-being and coping during covid-19. She provided some tips on how to survive the situation and pushed the attendees to live in the new normal.
Also, the audio-visual presentations (AVPs) of Regional Search Winners for Outstanding LMCs for Industrial Peace, showcasing their responsiveness and resiliency during the crisis served as a motivation to the 497 participants. 68 of them are from the Cordillera Administrative Region.
