Surviving the rigid screening and selection  in the regional and national  level,  three (3) establishments in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) will now vie for the national award in the  2017 Search for Outstanding LMC.

Twenty seven (27) companies in the entire Philippines competed in this year’s  Search for  national level. Sixteen (16) made it to the finals.  Finalists include Benguet Electric Cooperative/ Aspulan for organized, The Manor at Camp John Hay/Dap-ayan ti John Hay  and SN Aboitiz Power-Benguet, Inc. /Kaibigan Committee  for non-unionized.

Contenders will be screened by the National Board of Judges (NBOJ) composed of the NCMB Executive Director, as the chairperson, ILO Country Director, representatives from the Academe, national labor organization and  national employer organization as members. The final review and evaluation by the NBOJ will consist of presentation of entries and panel interview with labor and management representatives on October 16-17 in Manila.  They shall select a maximum of three (3) winners from each category. Special awards will also be given based on the LMC innovations achieved.

Winners will be presented during the 11th National LMC Convention on November 23-24, 2017 at the Grand Convention, Cebu City.
