An enhancement seminar for the officers and members of the different Labor Management Cooperation (LMC) committees of Eflexervices Philippines, Inc.ensued on 9 October 2020. Ms. Maggie Balagtey, Supervising LEO, emphasized the importance of having effective communication, strong partnership, and steadfast cooperation to achieve their objectives. On his part, Senior LEO Cesar Cacayuran imparted the significance of having a structured procedure in the resolution of grievances in the workplace. An audio-visual presentation of the LMC best practices of The Manor at Camp John Hay was shared with the participants to further gain ideas on how to make their LMC work.
Motivated by the basic orientation cum consultation on LMC and GM conducted on 3 March 2020 by the National Conciliation and Mediation Board-Cordillera Administrative Region, the management and employees of Eflexervices Philippines, Inc. agreed to organize their LMC. The COVID 19 pandemic may have delayed the submission of their LMC structure, but it did not hinder the employees’ determination to come up with the structure and programs that will advance their mutual interests. A Memorandum of Understanding was also forged by both parties.
