To achieve and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship through the continuing communication program, the Eflexervices Philippines, Inc. sealed their Labor Management Cooperation (LMC) with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on September 24, 2020. This is despite the work from home arrangement implemented by the company. The contents of the MOU were explained to the representatives through an online discussion, then delivered from house to house for their respective signatures.
The agreement aimed to provide both employees and management a direct channel of communication and to serve as a venue for further study and discussion of possible solutions to problems affecting their relationship. It was also designed as a means of constructive cooperation and improvement of their productivity levels.
Coverage for discussion of their LMC mechanism included safety and health, introduction of new technology, retrenchment program, business mergers and closures, workers’ welfare and livelihood, and recreational and social activities.
Three (3) workers were elected as their labor representatives. Likewise, three (3) were assigned as management complement. Also, the Senior Vice President and Corporate Human Resources was designated as an ex-officio member and shall act as the Chairperson of the Committee.
Both parties agreed to meet every first Monday of the month at 9:00 in the morning and shall observe the guidelines formulated for the peaceful fulfilment of their labor management cooperation.
