It was an activity filled month as the National Conciliation and Mediation Board-CAR participated in the 116th celebration of the Philippine Civil Service Month. Dubbed as, “Sigaw ng Bayani: Malasakit Para sa Taumbayan, Kapwa Kawani at Kalikasan”, events were prepared to appreciate and preserve people and the environment.

Administrative Assistants Lyla Jane Tacio and Limuel Garcia readily joined the Race to Serve Fun Run slated on September 9.  The five kilometer run was not only fun and rewarding but helpful as well as proceeds of this activity will go to the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani Program of the CSC which honors civil servants who died in the line of duty.

To have a safe and organized work stations, the Branch allotted a one day Brigada Ahensya on September 16.  All were enjoined to free their tables of clutter to have a healthy and dust free working environment.  Cleaning and rehabilitation continued the following day as Administrative Personnel helped in the Balili River Clean-up Day in La Trinidad, Benguet.

Considering that family is the basic unit of society, the Branch made sure a family bonding activity was included.  A whole day trekking and sightseeing at the Ben Cab Museum in Tadiangan, Tuba on September 24 concluded the month long celebration. This eco-walk activity is in response to the Civil Service Commission’s call to safe keep  and conserve the environment.
