SN Aboitiz Power Benguet (SNAPBI), reinforced its Kaibigan Committee when it availed the orientation on the Convergence of Programs of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on September 24, 2015 at the Ambuklao worksite of the company.

Kaibigan Committee is the labor management cooperation (LMC) concept and the workplace cooperation and partnership structure of SNAPBI. The Committee gained heights in 2012 and has since opened communication links between management and employees and has led to organizational effectiveness and efficiencies within the company.

“We are more than thankful of the assistance your group is extending to us, thank you very much“ Ms. Rosalyn F. White, Plant Support Services Manager said referring to the   Convergence Team who conducted the plant level orientation on the LMC Convergence of Programs.

The LMC Convergence of Programs or simply Convergence delivers the programs and services of DOLE and its five attached agencies in a package, right at the doorstep of the company. The end product of the Convergence is for the recipient company to adopt and implement the programs and services of BWSC, ECC, NWPC, OSHC, and NCMB as the program manager.

Newly assumed NCMB Director of CAR, Gil G. Caragayan joined the LMC Convergence Team to deliver this complete package of organizational intervention to SNAPBI. He captured the attention of the managers and staff with his delivery of inspiring messages from the Bible and his witty and funny stories.

Engr. Jose Gamad (OSHC), Mr. Patrick Rillorta (BWSC), Mr. Gil Datayan, Jr. (ECC), Mr. Manuel Dominguez (NWPC), Mesdames Maggie Balagtey and Cresencia M. Pawingi of NCMB comprised the Convergence Team for SNAPBI.

SNAPBI was awarded as the Promising Labor Management Cooperation (LMC) Practitioner in the recently concluded 2015 CAR Regional Search for Outstanding LMC for Industri al Peace conducted by NCMB-CAR.

The company is one of the 11 companies shortlisted by the National Screening Committee to compete for the Outstanding LMC for Industrial Peace in the national level.
