
University of Baguio (UB) grabbed the championship award from the defending champion Benguet Corporation, during the 6th CALMACAVAR Bowling Tournament held at Puyat Sports, Baguio Center Mall on December 11, 2015. Benguet Corporation – Balatoc dropped to third place. The bowling rules require the winner to retain its title for 3 consecutive years to qualify them for the CALMACAVAR perpetual trophy. UB has to maintain its award until 2017.
Benguet Corporation-Irisan Lime Project and The Manor at Camp John Hay captured the second and fourth place, respectively.

The Highest Single and Highest Number of Strikes Awards were bagged by Ms. Cristeta Soriano of Benguet Corporation. Unfortunately, no male player got the individual award for the male category.
The participating companies in this bowl fest are Benguet Electric Cooperative, Benguet Corporation with 4 teams -Balatoc, Itogon, Irisan Lime Project, L & LMC, Hedcor Inc., Lepanto Mining Company, Mt. Province Electric Cooperative, The Manor at Camp John Hay, NCMB, and University of Baguio.
This bowling tournament is an annual activity of the Cordillera Association of Labor – Management Cooperation and Advocates of Voluntary Arbitration (CALMACAVAR), Inc. and the National Conciliation and Mediation Board-CAR. It aims to strengthen the bond and camaraderie among the members of the association through sports. The theme for this year is “Sustaining Partnership and Collaboration of Labor and Management through Sports.”
The certificates and cash awards of the winners were awarded by NCMB-CAR Director Gil G. Caragayan, assisted by CALMACAVAR Treasurer Christian Albert Y. Licyayo during the closing ceremonies. Maggie B. Balagtey
