To better its cluster members in addressing workplace issues on gender sensitivity, the NCMB-Northern Luzon Regional Branches held a Team Enhancement Exercises (TEE) at the picturesque Pangil Beach Resort, Currimao, Ilocos Norte.

Thirty One personnel from Regions I, II, CAR, Central Office, X, XI,XIII were infused with various activities to strongly unite them with common goals and contribute to nation building and governance.  The TEE aimed to fuse gender and development topics, at the same time, fuel relations among attendees.

The subject on Gender and Sensitivity was discussed by Atty. Angelito B. Eder of the University of Northern Philippines.  His talk centered on the various legislations on how Gender and Development came about.  He particularly made mention of the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), often referred to as the international bill of rights for women.

Mr. Edgardo L. Ibajo, a former HR practitioner, served as the facilitator for the whole day enhancement activities.  The games, exclusively prepared for the Board, served as tool to tighten the link between participants.

The Northern Luzon is the fourth batch to undergo the unified TEE as it is the Executive Director’s desire to bring all personnel together and to set goals to improve services to clients and colleagues alike.
