The Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch (RCMB)-CAR continued its partnership with Baguio City Export Processing Zone (BCEPZ) for the promotion of the Board’s programs.

From July 18-22, 2022, eight (8) locators without Labor- Management Cooperation (LMC) and Grievance Machinery (GM) mechanisms were visited by the technical personnel of the Branch. These were Enplas Semiconductor Peripherals PTE. LTD., Expediteplus Warehousing and Logistics, Aurochs Aerospace Precision Manufacturing Corporation, Blackhawk Industrial Distribution-Philippine Branch (formerly MT Supply, Inc.), Giant International Software Station, Inc., LXT Corporation, and Test Solutions Services, Inc.

Highlights of discussions with the representatives of the companies were on the LMC and GM. They were. encouraged to establish their respective mechanisms to help them improve their productivity as well as to enhance the working relations of the workers and employers in the workplace.

The collaboration with BCEPZ which commenced years back had already produced thirteen (13) LMC and GM practitioners. With the addition of the above companies and counting, RCMB-CAR is hopeful that the locators will sustain their efficiency and maintain the peaceful environment of the economic zone.

“I hope that this collaboration with BCEPZ will continue. The positive response of the locators is a realization of one of our goals – to facilitate the LMCs of all the locators of the export zone. This will eventually result in a peaceful industrial relations climate in the region,” RCMB-CAR Director Lourdes P. Estioco said.
